What You Will Do:
The Degree Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing student success through expert management of degree completion processes within the Office of the Registrar. This dynamic position combines technical expertise with student service, overseeing the comprehensive degree finalization workflow from initial application through completion. The role requires proficiency in both Banner and Degree Works systems to effectively manage student degree progress and completion. Core responsibilities include orchestrating the degree finalization timeline, managing student application data, processing analytical reports, and maintaining seamless communication about deadlines to all stakeholders. This position serves as a technical specialist while also providing essential front-line support through department communications channels, assisting both current students and alumni with their needs. Working directly with the Assistant Registrar, this role is instrumental in maintaining efficient departmental operations and contributing to a positive student experience through accurate degree processing and responsive service delivery.

The salary range of the grade for this position is $19.14 to $26.80 per hour (typical workweek is 37.5 hours). Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Offers are based on multiple factors permitted by law, including but not limited to: budgetary considerations, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, market considerations, tenure and standing with the university (applicable to current employees), and internal equity.
